Ozawa represents the second installment of the "Smile Connection Project," crafted exclusively with Yamada Nishiki rice from the Special A district of Ozawa in Kato City, Hyogo Prefecture. The rice producers from Ozawa district participated in creating this sake by deciding the taste profile, polishing ratio, and even the label design. The character design behind "OZAWA" features the distinctive "shinpaku" (white heart) that represents the prized core of premium sake rice.
This junmai ginjo is carefully brewed using only the center portion of the rice grains through traditional low-temperature fermentation, creating a refined and elegant sake that showcases the exceptional quality of Ozawa's terroir.
