Crafted from a 1300 year old recipe unearthed on ancient wooden tablets, once favored by Prince Nagaya himself during the Nara period ( 700 AD ) A truly timless taste.

Referred to as  a "miracle sake"  made with a 90% rice polishing rate and a one-step preparation. An achievement unheard of at any other sake brewery in Japan.

Flavour Profile:

Exceptionally sweet and rich, yet with a clean, easy-to-drink finish. 

It pairs well with Cheese, smoked fish, nuts and meat.

Can be served chilled, warmed, or on the rocks.

Winner of the top prize at a competition in France two years in a row; in 2022 the top prize at a competition in Italy and in 2023 at a competition in Luxembourg.

Who is Prince Nagaya?

Nagaya-o was an imperial prince and politician during the early Nara period. Prince Nagaya represented lavish cultural diplomacy, love of the arts, passion for literature, and experiencing the fullness of life. His namesake is a toast to shared interests, optimism, and unity.
